MADRID STOCK EXCHANGE

The Every working day morning, the Madrid Stock Exchange opens its doors to all visitors for a guided-tour within the XIXth century Palacio de la Bolsa. The tour includes a visit to the exhibition "The Stock Exchange of the New Millennium".
All visitors are encouraged to ask as doubts arise, assuming a dynamic and active role.
The exhibition, made of interactive audiovisuals and screens (ONLY AVAILABLE IN SPANISH), facilitates the understanding of the Madrid Stock Exchange characteristics, since its very early days in 1831 up to the last achievements of the New Millennium.
The visit is, approximately, 60 minutes long.

One commercial of the Hotel, will explain how the different departments are connected and how important is each section to guarantee the adequate service of superior Hotel.

MUSEO DEL VINO DE VALDEPEÑAS

The Wine Museum is located inside a winery from 1901 in Valdepeñas, Ciudad Real. Its 3.304 m2 helps the students to learn more about the wine culture. The visit will let the students know about the machinery necessary to do the wine and the the bottling process.

PARLIAMENT


The Constitution of 1978 established a two-chamber system. The Spanish Parliament is made up of the Congress and the Senate, and both Chambers represent all of Spain. According section 66 the Constitution their functions are the exercise of the legislative power of the State, the adoption of its budget, the control of the action of the Government, and the rest of powers granted by the Constitution. However, this two-chamber system does not mean that Congress and the Senate operate on the same level. The Constitution has endowed Congress with a series of duties and powers that demonstrate its supremacy.
The group will visit the Parliament with its neoclassic style building, the meetings rooms were the politicians take decisions about important matters in Spain and also they will know the its history and the role that takes in the country.

SENATE


Is one of the Chambers that represent all Spain.
Here the group will see where the politicians do the meetings and take the decisions about Spanish actual matters, and also where the matters of years ago where discuss.

The group will do a visit around the low part, the noble part, which is the oldest part of the building.
Then the group will visit the old meeting room where the old politicians took old decisions.
Also the group will visit the old library, which is a very curios room, with a lot of beautiful paintings.

DYC DESTILLERY


DYC is the name of the most important national Whisky in Spain, and also one of the oldest.
The clients will see how this famous whisky is done in its distillery, located in Pozuelos de Eresma, town near Segovia. This distillery began to works in February of 1959, and in 1963 whisky DYC began to being bottled and being sold.
The group will see how is done the whisky with its mixed of malt and distilled cereal, and see how its different components have being aged put it in different American barrels for some years, to finally get the famous whisky DYC 8 years.

CASTEJON WINERY


Situated in the South-east of the Region of Madrid, they are located in the Arganda del Rey subzona, the most extensive of the three that constitute the Denomination of Origin Wines of Madrid. This subzona covers 25 municipalities with 6.400 hectares of vineyards, approximately.
Cellar founded in 1.959 by Miguel Castejón Aguado. During the years of existence of Bodegas Castejón, considerable investments have allowed to carry out deep structural and organisation changes, endowing the cellar of the most advanced enological technology. The deepest tradition in the ageing and crianza of wines together with modernity of the facilities, in stainless steel and control of temperature, it allows us to get, year after year, what constitutes our main objective: To produce wines of high quality levels.

The harvest is developed by hand carefully from first September even final of October depending of the different varieties and level of maturation of the grapes.
Our facilities are endowed with the most modern technology, carrying out the fermentation of the wines in stainless steel tanks with automatic control of temperature and pneumatic pressing with classification of must.
The group will do a visit around the installation and see how is this wine done, and then they will do a tasting of some wines.

FAUNIA WILDLIFE PARK MADRID

Just a few kilometres from the centre of Madrid, Faunia is unique in Europe. This bio-park, which covers 140,000 square metres, replicates different ecosystems in various different sectors: the Mediterranean, tropical jungle, aviary, the Arctic and the Antarctic. Besides these main sectors, you can also explore the themed pavilions:
Underground mysteries, Biodiversity, Active-nature and Naturescope, The night, the butterfly-house/pollinarium/insectarium, and the lake full of pink flamingos with islands home to primates. The nutrition pavilion, the farm and the nest are other mini-themed areas.

Faunia is a huge nature park, containing thousands of different species of animals from all over the world. Faunia is a biodiversity theme park that is made up of 8 of the world’s eco-systems and 3,500 animals. Faunia is a great mix of both indoor and outdoor things to see. Faunia is not the same as a normal zoo, because its prime objective is to show ecosystems, not just animals.

There is the largest reconstruction of a Polar Eco-system in Europe, which houses animals from both the North and South poles. In contrast, the Amazon Jungle area is a reconstruction of the rainforests and is kept at a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius with 80% humidity.

There is also a ‘Night time’ area, many animals and birds are kept outside. The aquarium section should not be missed, as it contains the world’s largest species of fish.

SAN MIGUEL BEER FACTORY MADRID


The visit takes approx. 2 hours. It reveals the elaboration methods of one of the oldest beverages products in the world. You will see the industrial facilities of the factory and listen to the history of the beer in general as well as to the one of the Mahou San Miguel Group. You will be able to personally observe the production & bottling process. Audiovisual means of information are available too. The visit finished in the factory bar where you will have the possibility to taste the beer accompanied by a small snack.
You will be able to meet a team of people who work to obtain the maximum quality in the factory’s products. You will also discover a company who is committed and respectful with the environment and who incorporates the newest technology to its process of production.

Mahou San Miguel is the first brewing group of Spanish capital.
